Red Hulk's rage in Captain America: Brave New World in 2025



Infoinmovie | Julius Onah, "Captain America: Brave New World," Director explains Red Hulk  is the alter ego of U.S President Thaddeus Ross. In the released trailer, Red Hulk who will be portrayed by Harrison Ford, is set to appear as a rival to Captain America or Sam Wilson.

The idea of incorporating Red Hulk was met enthusiastically by director Onah. "When Red Hulk Character became a possibility for this film, I (the director) immediately smiled like a child. It was then I knew it was the right idea to introduce to the world," he explained in an interview quoted by Variety.

Onah said that the previous incarnation of Red Hulk will inform fan expectations for the character. This all stems from the fact that Red Hulk is the embodiment of pure, unbridled emotion. “There’s a relevant rage aspect, which is appealing to audiences because Red Hulk’s anger will be at the core of this film’s conflict,” he clarified.

The “Captain America: Brave New World” movies is Sam Wilson’s first solo film as Captain America. Taking the official mantel of Captain America from Steve Rogers who retired in “Avengers: Endgame.”

The film will star Anthony Mackie, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny Ramirez, Liv Tyler, Carl Lumbly, and of course, Harrison Ford.

Also, notable is this will be the late William Hurt’s original character, Thaddeus Ross — though, his role has been recast with Harrison Ford.

“Captain America: Brave New World” is among the most anticipated Hollywood films to be released on Feb. 14, 2025.
