Bambi: The Reckoning Brings Terror to the Big Screen

Info in Movie News | Bambi, for a long time, has been viewed as a peaceful, kind deer, but there's a whole other side of him that you've never seen before. He shows the dark side of him in the new movie Bambi: The Reckoning by Jagged Edge Productions and you will be amazed by the horror that the hunting deer can bring to life as a grim animal.

This is one of the films in the Twisted Childhood Universe, a franchise that took traditional characters for kids into the realm of deadly creatures, confirms Collider. In a storyline set in the past, the idyllic and peaceful forest is now a harsh hunting ground, where Bambi is the rival instead of the prey.

According to the released video, the story starts with a car crash on a remote road as we see. The fact that they are not alone, but they are being hunted by a lurking animal, the three victims are absolutely unaware of. Throwing those who dare to pass by into pure terror, Bambi with his sharp teeth and hunter's wisdom, terrorizes anyone who dares enter his territory.

Redd has directed the film from a screenplay written by Rhys Warrington and it stars Roxanne McKee, Tom Mulheron, Nicola Wright, Samira Mighty, and Alex Cooke. It is directed by Scott Chambers and Rhys Frake-Waterfield, indie horror scene veterans.

The Twisted Childhood Universe is getting bigger very fast now, because the viral success of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey went against the critics. The expanding is evident since the franchise released other horror films like Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare and the ambitious crossover project Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble, which keep the fascinating nostalgia by Gaming evolution.

Bambi: The Reckoning is slated for release in the summer of 2025. Will it go over the top of the ones before and give fans of horror a new one to deal with, a nightmare, again? It's a matter of time before we see it on the silver screen.
