Cosmo Jarvis Joins "The Odyssey," Christopher Nolan’s Ambitious New Project

Info in Movie News | Cosmo Jarvis is making himself more secure in the film industry by collaborating with Christopher Nolan, the director of the upcoming movie The Odyssey. In line with the article from Collider, the actor, who most recently appeared for his role as John Blackthorne in Shōgun, will be working with Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Robert Pattinson.

But even if it is not confirmed yet what role he will play in The Odyssey, Cosmo Jarvis is seen to be making his breakthrough in the industry with his collaboration in this project. The film was highlighted by his full-bodied commitment to the development of the character which he proved through Calm with Horses (2019) film that got him a BAFTA nomination. Also, there is his deeply psychological and intellectual performance in Lady Macbeth (2016) and a new version of the classic story of Persuasion (2022).

His appearance in the movie The Odyssey strengthens even more his status as one well-positioned actor among the most promising of the present. The role of Jarvis in the movie is expected to be of the most interesting one with the invigorating new directorial techniques of Nolan.

The Odyssey right now is being shot in Morocco and shortly after it will be relocated to Sicily. The movie that is being made using the IMAX technology will be shown on the screens on July 17, 2026, and it will be about the epic travel of Odysseus in a land full of astonishing visual effects.
