Leading the cast is D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai as Mendoza, joined by a strong ensemble that includes Charles Melton, Joseph Quinn, Will Poulter, Kit Connor, Michael Gandolfini, and Noah Centineo. With no single protagonist, Warfare builds tension through shifting perspectives, realism, and grounded storytelling.

A24 Has More Coming

Following the triumphant box office result of Warfare and the previous year’s Civil War, A24 is showing that it is open to the release of movies from the research and development department in the years ahead.

First up, there's Sing Sing, starring Colman Domingo in a drama set inside a prison theater program, already earning early awards chatter. Then there’s The Front Room, a psychological horror film from Max and Sam Eggers (yes, Robert Eggers’ brothers), and Tuesday, a surreal emotional ride starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus that’s expected to push genre boundaries.

The success of Warfare speaks volumes of A24’s increased investment in fresh, director-driven projects, which has been accepted by the public.
